The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi Party) between 1920 and 1945 emerged from a nationalist, populist Freikorps paramilitary culture. Although the Party’s political strategy started with anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalist rhetoric, the party shifted to expansionist, anti-minority and anti-Marxist themes.
