 The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), creating a trilateral trade bloc, is an agreement signed in 1988 by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.  The current US Administration’s “America first” attitude to trade, immigration and foreign affairs equate to US protectionism and multi-polarity in international trade.
